I really enjoyed Bev & Alex’s Oxford engagement session in Oxford in October of last year. Bev and Alex wanted photographs that captured their character and their relationship together and having called Oxford home for many years they wanted it to feature in the shoot. They are 2 lovely people and were so wonderfully relaxed in front of the camera, so between that and the locations I was one happy photographer.
We started the shoot at Lincoln College in Oxford City Centre and then moved on around the city. We stopped outside Weston Library (which is part of the Bodleian Library) which has the most wonderful long glass window that reflects everything so wonderfully. We also then stopped on the High Street for some long exposure shots with buses and cyclists zooming past and then went on to South Park in Headington where Bev & Alex had their first date and got engaged.

I love this shoot. It’s a wonderful mix of classic stunning Oxford architecture, modern architecture and urban grunge. Bev & Alex were naturally themselves and I think that shines through in these photographs. I cannot wait be there for their wedding in April.

Really unique atmosphere and pure feelings are captured in this images - and for the image with the passing by buss, it's stunning!!!
